KAMPONG PHLUK STILTED HOUSE VILLAGE + FLOODED FOREST (5 hours)
Kampong Phluk is a cluster of three villages of stilted houses built within the floodplain of Tonle Sap about 16 km southeast of Siem Reap. Kompong Phluk is accessible by boat only and we will cruise the lake with Cambodia traditional boat. Kompong Phluk is a relatively small village that provides very good insight into the village lifestyle of the Tonle Sap. This village exists almost exclusively on fishing and related activities. Houses are built on stilts up to 10 m high, and the village is surrounded by flooded forest. As opposed to the Chong Kneas floating village, it’s a different experience. Upon entering the Tonle Sap Lake basin, we will stopover at the flooded forest. Change to a local long tail boat where the local will help you on paddle, sit back, relax and make sure to get a lot of cool shots in this venue.

CHONG KNEAS FLOATING VILLAGE (4 hours)
We travel towards the west to visit the Chong Kneas floating village. It is located at the edge of the lake, you will ride a private Khmer Traditional boat and witnessing the floating households, market, clinic, school and fisherman boats along the way. It has more than 5,000 inhabitants which strongly tied to the seasonal rise and fall of the water. They move when the water level changes. Stopover at the floating platform where you can relax and sip the local coconut, feed the Mekong catfish, and see the crocodiles in an exhibit cage. This is a great local feel trip after the golf or in between the days.

Toul Sleng Genocide Museum and The Killing Fields
Learn about the dark times of Cambodia in this historical site visits. Visit Choeung Ek “The Killing Field”, It was used by the Khmer Rouge regime as an execution ground to put down about 20,000 people between 1975 and 1979 who had been detained and tortured at the S-21 Prison. Mass graves containing thousands of bodies were discovered at Choeung Ek after the fall of the Khmer Rouge regime. Today, Choeng Ek is a memorial marked by Buddhist stupa. The stupa has acrylic glass sides and is filled with more than 5,000 human skulls; many of which are either shattered or had evidently been smashed. It is believed that the Khmer Rouge soldiers kill their victims by smashing them on the head, in order to save on bullets. Next, We will visit the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21), which is a former high school used as the notorious security prison that became the largest center of detention and torture in the country. This visit can be facilitate after your round of golf or can be combine with the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum, Central Market and the Killing Field in one full day tour.
