Destination Spotlight

Vietnam's Golf Destinations

If you are looking for a golf destination that combines world-class golf, beautiful beaches, luxury resorts, excellent food and fascinating culture, Da Nang should be high on your list. Located on Vietnam’s beautiful central coast, Da Nang has developed into one of Southeast Asia’s most attractive golf destinations. Within a relatively compact area, golfers can enjoy championship courses designed by some of the biggest names in golf, including Greg Norman, Jack Nicklaus, Colin Montgomerie, Luke Donald and Robert Trent Jones Jr.

PREMIUM GOLF DESTINATIONS

World Class Golf Courses

Da Nang and the surrounding Central Vietnam golf corridor offer a fantastic selection of golf courses, each with its own character.

Hoiana Shores Golf Club

For golfers who love links golf, Hoiana Shores Golf Club is one of the region’s standout experiences. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the course follows a dramatic coastal and dune landscape. The combination of natural dunes, coastal winds and strategic design makes it a memorable challenge for experienced golfers. It is an excellent choice for golfers looking for something different from traditional resort golf.

Ba Na Hills Golf Club

For a completely different experience, head into the mountains to Ba Na Hills Golf Club. Designed by Luke Donald, the course winds through a spectacular mountain landscape and offers a very different atmosphere from the coastal courses. One of its most exciting features is the opportunity for night golf, making it possible to play in the cooler evening conditions. And because Ba Na Hills is also home to attractions such as the famous Golden Bridge and French Village, it can easily be combined with a sightseeing day.

BRG Da Nang Golf Resort

Another must-play is BRG Da Nang Golf Resort, now also referred to as Legend Da Nang Golf Resort. The destination offers 36 holes with two different golf experiences. The Norman layout provides a more natural coastal and links-style character, while the Nicklaus course offers a different strategic challenge.

Montgomerie Links
Designed by Colin Montgomerie, Montgomerie Links is another popular choice for international golfers. The course uses the natural coastal landscape, including sand dunes and undulating terrain, to create a challenging but enjoyable round.

More Than Just Golf

One of the biggest advantages of choosing Da Nang for a golf holiday is the variety of things to do away from the course. After your round, you can relax on My Khe Beach, enjoy a seafood dinner, visit the Marble Mountains or explore the vibrant city centre. And just a short drive away is Hoi An Ancient Town, one of Vietnam’s most charming destinations. Walk through the historic streets, enjoy dinner beside the Thu Bon River, visit traditional shops and experience Hoi An’s famous lanterns. For golfers travelling with their partner or family, this combination is particularly attractive because non-golfers have plenty of activities to enjoy while golfers are on the course.
